For dogs that have special requirements because of behavior challenges, we offer several opportunities for you to work in a safe, supportive group training environment. Using visual barriers and separated training areas, we can provide secure training opportunities for dogs that are aggressive or reactive toward other dogs or are shy around dogs or people. Our success with these gentle, gradual methods has been excellent, and we would welcome an opportunity to employ them for your dog. The classes are:
Reactive Rovers: Behavior modification for dogs that lunge, bark and show aggressive behavior around other dogs. Please call or email to discuss your dog's behavior before registering for this class. For further information, click here.
Reactive Rovers II: For dogs that have completed Reactive Rovers or equivalent private training. Introduces multi-dog activities, including walking, obedience and agility.
Cautious Canine Class: For dogs that are shy or reserved around people, other dogs and new situations.
