We offer both in-home and community programs for families and groups, focusing on developing safe and happy relationships among people and dogs. Our Kids and Dogs program on dog safety is appropriate for families and groups such as Brownies or Cub Scouts. It features a short discussion, games and, when possible, an opportunity to interact with a friendly dog. Playing Doggone Crazy!, an interactive board game, is a great way for children to learn how to "read" dogs and to determine when it is safe to interact.
If your family is expecting a child, be sure to check out our special Dogs and Storks program.
So You're Getting a New Puppy!
We have a special presentation for families that are considering getting a new dog. It covers the choice of an appropriate pet, preparation for pup’s arrival, and ways to help the dog and family make a smooth transition. We are happy to make these sessions available on request to families and groups. We offer the pre-puppy presentation through South Coast Learning Connection (www.learnconnect.com) and at public libraries, as well as in private homes. We’d love to do it for your family or group; please contact us at info@ridogguy.com.
